Joseph Handcrafted Tapestry Jacket

Each jacket begins with carefully sourced Texas tapestry fabric, individually selected for its rich woven texture, intricate pattern, and vintage-inspired character. The tapestry is then thoughtfully cut and pieced to create the body of the jacket, allowing the unique artwork and variations within the textile to become part of the finished design.

Contrasting cotton denim sleeves and a handcrafted denim collar give the jacket a timeless, lived-in feel while adding structure and durability to the heavier tapestry body. Every collar is individually constructed and attached by hand, and the sleeves are finished with a relaxed cuff that can be worn rolled or down.

The front is completed with snap-button closures, keeping the silhouette clean and understated while allowing the tapestry itself to remain the focal point.

From sourcing the fabric to cutting, constructing, sewing, and finishing each individual garment, these jackets are made in small quantities with an emphasis on craftsmanship rather than mass production. Because of the placement and natural variation of the tapestry design, no two jackets will ever be exactly alike—each piece has its own combination of pattern, color, and character.
